







































(ANSA) – SYDNEY, NOV 21 – the number of heart transplants can be increased up to 50%, thanks to research by Australian surgeons who have discovered a way to protect the organ that no longer beating. The solution has been developed by specialists of the cardiac Institute Victor Chang research at Saint Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. The heart is connected to a machine that pumps blood donor in it, essentially rianimandolo out of the body while waiting to transfer it.
