Transplants: here is how to save the still heart

(ANSA) – SYDNEY, NOV 21 – the number of heart transplants can be increased up to 50%, thanks to research by Australian surgeons who have discovered a way to protect the organ that no longer beating. The solution has been developed by specialists of the cardiac Institute Victor Chang research at Saint Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.
