PThe three routes include spots not always open to the public as well as famous sights that are visited by the main character of Paolo Sorrentino’s film which earlier this month won the Oscar for best foreign film./PPThe routes include Piazza Navona, with the church of St./PPAgnese in Agone, the Ponte Sisto across the Tiber River, the Aventine Hill, Baths of Caracalla, Capitoline Museums and the Colosseum./PPAfter the Oscar win was announced, Rome Mayor Ignazio Marino began planning the tours, designed to show off some of the beauty highlighted in the film starring acclaimed actor Toni Servillo./PPThe Great Beauty portrays the decadent and vacuous lives of a series of Italian personalities living in the capital city, which itself plays a leading role in Sorrentino’s film./P
