But it seems proper that our members decide for themselves through the network,” said Grillo and M5S co-founder Gianroberto Casaleggio in a statement announcing an online poll. PThe M5S has been among the most outspoken groups opposed to a government led by PD chief Renzi, who orchestrated an intraparty coup last weak to unseat outgoing Premier Enrico Letta. If Renzi succeeds in forging a governing majority, he will become Italy’s third-consecutive un-elected premier, a fact that particularly rankles the populist M5S, which won huge numbers of votes in general elections last February.
